Drift — Privacy Policy

Drift (“the app”) is a physics puzzle game developed by Koh Ngiap Hin (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what data the app handles and why.

Data we do not collect

Drift has no user accounts. Your game progress, settings, and cosmetic unlocks are stored only on your device and are never uploaded to us. We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos, or location.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

Drift shows optional rewarded video ads served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect:

• Device identifiers (including the advertising identifier, IDFA, only if you allow tracking when iOS asks)
• IP address and coarse location derived from it
• Device information and ad interaction data (e.g., that an ad was viewed)

If you decline tracking (“Ask App Not to Track”), or decline consent where GDPR applies, ads are still shown but are non-personalized and the advertising identifier is not used.

Google’s use of this data is described in Google’s Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Your choices

• Tracking permission (iOS): you can change your decision at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
• GDPR consent (EEA/UK): if you are in a region where consent is required, the app shows a consent form on first launch. You can change your choice by reinstalling the app or via the ad consent options where offered.
• Limit personalized ads: Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising and the tracking toggle above.

In-app purchases

Purchases (stardust packs and constellation family unlocks) are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Purchase receipts are handled by Apple’s StoreKit; consult Apple’s Privacy Policy for how Apple processes payment data.

Children

Drift is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Data retention

We retain no personal data on our servers, because we operate none. Data collected by Google for advertising is retained under Google’s policies linked above.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
